The Safe & Sound Program is designed for the immediate response if a child is missing. The program takes the children's photo and fingerprints for emergency use. Often times, in the event of an emergency, parents cannot give an accurate description of their child. Having a recent photo on hand will help in the immediate response by the local authorities. In this program you will receive two photo I.D. cards, an at-home DNA collection kit, your child's information CD-ROM (plus a hard copy), and safety brochures. The order form is only for scheduled events, which you should receive through your child's school or day care center. Program procedure: Being a mobile company, FIDS will schedule all events through schools, nurseries, daycare providers, churches, etc. These locations will receive handouts containing an introductory letter, FAQ’s answer sheet, order form and envelope for your child to take home. The envelope is used for the completed order form and payment which your child will give to the Event Coordinator on the day of the Event. When on location, we will setup to obtain a digital photo, all fingerprints, critical information forms, and payment from each participating child. It will take approximately 2 minutes per child for the on-site process. The collected information will be processed and downloaded onto a Compact Disc, and the finished packages will be delivered back to the original event location. |
